      乌兹别克斯坦卫生部制药发展署署长萨尔多尔·卡里耶夫日前在接受新华社记者专访时表示，在全球抗击新冠疫情大背景下，推进乌中两国在传统医学领域的合作具有重要意义。

　　2020年6月15日，中国乌兹别克斯坦传统医学中心在乌首都塔什干举行试营业启动仪式。卡里耶夫在专访中说，中乌传统医学中心的试营业标志着两国在医卫领域合作进一步深化和巩固，它将成为两国在传统医学领域开展互利合作的桥梁。

　　他表示，中医文化历史悠久、独具特色，在世界各地受到欢迎，特别是在此次抗击新冠疫情的过程中，中医再次展示其独特魅力，发挥了重要作用。

　　卡里耶夫说，以中乌传统医学中心为依托，未来两国专家可就使用两国所产草药生产医药产品展开合作。中心还可在联合培养传统医学高素质人才方面发挥重要作用。相信该机构的工作将推动两国在构建“健康丝绸之路”上迈出更大步伐。

        On June 15,2020, the Chinese Traditional Medicine Center of Uzbekistan held a trial opening ceremony in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent. Karryev said in an interview that the trial operation of the China Uzbekistan Traditional Medicine Center marks the further deepening and consolidation of medical cooperation between the two countries and will serve as a bridge for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of traditional medicine.
        He said that traditional Chinese medicine, with its long history and unique characteristics, has been well received around the world and played an important role in demonstrating its unique charm again, especially in the fight against the new crown disease.
      Karryev said experts from the two countries could cooperate in the future on the production of medical products using herbal medicines produced in the two countries, backed by the China Uzbekistan traditional medicine center. The centre can also play an important role in the joint training of highly qualified personnel in traditional medicine. It is believed that the work of the agency will push the two countries to make greater strides in building a "healthy Silk Road" .
